This dress was machine embroidered. The Assistant Costume Designer, Michael Ciaramitaro, created a custom embroidery design based on my dress pattern. He created a digital copy of his design using photoshop. I took his digital design, and digitized it using Hatch Embroidery software. I then used the digital embroidery file to stitch out the design before cutting the dress.
